The Crazy English Language

There is no egg in eggplant!
No ham in hamburger!
And neither pine nor apple in the pineapple!
French fries were invented in England!
Boxing rings are square!
A guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig!
If the plural of tooth is teeth, should not the plural of phonebooth be phonebeeth?
If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what the heck does a humanitarian eats?!

Crazy isn't it?
