Chocoholics Attack!!!

How does one chocoholic like me resists such chocolaty temptation, huh?! I've been eating these chocolates for a week already, and I just can't get to make myself stop from doing so. *Swt. What can I do?! Chocolates are really tempting, right my fellow choco addicts? And even I've been consciously watching what I eat for these past 3 months, I think I have to make an exception this time. Just for this time, I promise! Until all these chocolates have already been consumed. Haha! So here were the chocolates I've been going gaga lately!

First on my list are the Ferreros:

Ferrero Rocher. Luscious, creamy, chocolaty filling surrounding a whole hazelnut, within a delicate, crisp wafer all enveloped in milk chocolate and finely chopped hazelnuts. I soo loved it! Hehe.

Ferrero Garden Coco. It's rich in coconut cream surrounding a cream almond, within a delicate, crisp wafer topped with meringue and shredded coconut. I swear it's yummy!

Ferrero Rondnoir. I used to hate dark chocolates for it's bitter taste. But with this, I just find myself craving for more. It has a creamy dark chocolate surrounding a "black pearl" of fine dark chocolate, within a delicate, crisp wafer topped with crunchy dark chocolate morsels.

Marks & Spencer's Operetta. Quite similar with Ferrero's with the wafer and fillings for that matter. Operetta's a whole hazelnut surrounded by a rich praline cream & crispy wafer, coated in milk chocolate & chopped hazelnuts. I absolutely loved it as well!

What can I say?! These were all scrumptious and I have nothing to say bad about these. So before the ants eat these all up ahead of me, I'll definitely consumed these for God's sake! Haha!

Nursery

This was my first day in the nursery unit. Obviously I am a nurse and I am having my clinical training in the nursery/NICU for 3 months. Surprisingly, I am not that excited as compared to my previous training in the ICU from a different hospital. Though I was hoping I could get an experience in the nursery since I really wanted to be a NICU nurse someday. It just felt different this time. Perhaps I already feel tired working without pay. Haha. I just wished that after this training, I'll be able to get a job as well. Tee Hee!

Withdrawing Funds From PayPal

I've been busy these past few days for my hospital training. Apparently, I only had the time to check my email just awhile ago, and received an email from PayPal informing that we can get to withdraw funds from our PayPal account through our local banks. Great isn't it?

Now, we have another alternative to withdraw funds from our PayPal account. But first, one must be a verified PayPal member to access this feature without a minimum nor a maximum withdrawal amount.

Heath Ledger Dead!

After Brad Renfro's death, another actor, Heath Ledger at 28, the gay cowboy in Brokeback Mountain was found dead in his apartment by his housekeeper. Some kind of drugs were found around his bed though the cause of death has not been confirmed yet. Was it intentional or not? I wonder.

So sad...another talented actor passed away so suddenly. May his soul rest in peace!

One Love

I'm here blogging again about Spring Waltz. Though this time I am sharing with you the english version of it's OST. Hope you'll like it. c",)

One Love

Higher than the sky above you
Clearer than blue
Brighter than the rays of sunshine
Warmer than what you feel
More than all the wonders you see
It's the most wonderful thing

Brighter than the living colors of flowers you see
Sweeter than the touch of water
Flowing from the mountain spring
More than all the wonders you see
It's the most wonderful thing

One love...
I love you so
Love is the beautiful one
I love you so
Love is the beautiful one
All we need is love
Real love

Marvel at the sight of greenfields
Amazingly seen
Watch the colors of the rainbow
It's a miracle you see
More than all the wonders can be
But there's more than that

One Love...
I love you so
Love is the beautiful one

Greater than what you can feel
More than what you ever dreamed
This is better than your everything
One love...

I love you so
Love is the beautiful one

All we need is love
One love

Spring Waltz

While complying my requirements for my hospital training, I stumbled upon this shop inside the mall that sells dvd last Monday and bought a copy of Spring Waltz. It’s currently aired in a local TV network (Abs-Cbn), and since I sleep way early before the airtime, I didn’t get to watch this on primetime. It’s a Korean drama that shares about genuine love and childhood memories. This is the fourth and final seasonal drama series of Endless Love. It consists of 20 episodes and I watched this for 2 straight days, and I mean the whole day, and just finished it awhile ago, and crying while watching this. Hmm…yeah I admit it, I’m a sucker for drama series and I really get carried away with the emotions that the characters portray.

“Love is compared to the way spring blossoms into their lives, bringing a sense of hope. Love is also depicted as gently embracing the protagonists' lonely hearts, which are chillingly numb in the midst of a long and harsh "winter".”

Anyways, I don’t want to go into details since some people may not have finished watching this and I don’t want to spoil the thrill of watching this series. Haha.

And before I end this entry I want to quote this message from the drama…

"If you truly love and miss that person, Then, love will come again when you meet that person again. Just like playing a game of hide and seek, No matter where he/she hides or even if you can't see him/her, He/she must be waiting at some place for you. Amid the countless chaos, Just like the sincere prayers of love. The people in love will surely meet again."

- Park Eun-young (taken from episode 1 of Spring Waltz)

MacBook Air

Starting at $1,799, MacBook Air is the world’s thinnest notebook. It’s ultra thin and ultra portable with it’s 0.16 to 0.76 inch sleek, sturdy anodized aluminum and weighs 3 lbs. It has a glossy 13.3 inch widescreen and 1280-by-800 resolution giving you vibrant images and rich colors. It also has a multi-touch technology just like with the iphone, so you can pinch, swipe or rotate to zoom in an image or text.

Amazingly thin! Isn’t it?

Now, this gives me the reason to crave for this notebook!

Passport Online Renewal

Spare me for blogging a lot today.

Just minutes ago, I watched TV Patrol and learned that we can get to renew our passports online. Isn't that great?! No need to line up at the office while sweating all out while waiting for our turn. Good timing, I can say, since my passport's expiring sometime this year.

But before we all rejoice with this great news, sad to say that this isn't available for first time passport applicants.

So if you want to make an appointment, why not visit the DFA's website first to learn how to do this online.

Shame on me, I never knew that Resiklo means Recycle, since tagalog's not my native tongue. LOL. That's when I learned it when I get to watched Resiklo in SM Cinema awhile ago. I realized it when the characters used recycled parts of used machines to produce their so-called robots for combats against the Balangs.

The movie was good. I like the visual effects compared with the other Pinoy sci-fi films I've watched. Though the story was a bit dragging for me, maybe because I want the fight scenes more? LOL. And I want something unqiue, because it seems like a Pinoy Transformers (except for the cars) with a bit of Star Wars for me.

But still...it's worth watching this film!

Job Search At POEA

I decided to visit the POEA Regional office today with my boyfriend. When we got there, I scanned through the bulletin board and looked for any job offers for nurses abroad. Unfortunately, only a few agencies were posted and mostly were for the middle east and USA. I was hesitant with the offer in the US due to the retrogression thingy.

Anyways, after going through the board, I was not even sure what I'll do next. So I thought that we should go inside the office and look if there are other posted job offerings there. So we headed up the 2nd floor of the building where their office is located. I saw the guard at the entrance taking care of the logbook for the applicants to sign before getting inside.

But I still didn't know what to do. I wanted to ask the guard but I don't know what and how to ask him. I told my boyfriend about it and we were just laughing and making fun of ourselves for going there without even knowing what to do.

And I thought that if we leave, we will just be wasting our time in going there for nothing so I might as well ask the guard. And so did I! I asked "manong" guard if there are other job offers inside the office aside from the ones displayed in the bulletin board. But he told me that there were none but there are offers only for Saudi Arabia and handed me the requirements for the Ministry of Health of KSA.

Even now, I am still hesitant with the idea of working in KSA but if I still can't a job here, then I guess I will take the risk.

For my readers sake, I'm taking this space to post about me. My about me section, I guess is not enough for you guys to know more about me. Although I will not be disclosing all facts about me 'coz I need to leave some things in mystery, right?!

So Here It Goes...

Real Name: Crissy (just call me by my nickname)
Location: Davao City, Philippines (was born here and resides here as well)
Birthdate: November 27, 1983
Star Sign: Sagittarius
School: Ateneo De Davao University (Graduated 2005)

I like to eat a lot but I'm conscious with my weight so as much as possible whenever I have some money I hit the gym and sweat it all out. I love carbonara, chocolates, durian shake, fruits and green vegetables, Ceasar's Sandwhich of KFC, Hot Fudge and Takoyaki of Victoria Plaza fronting Park N' Shop. Actually, I love food so I can't mention all of them here. Hehe.

I am a homebody, not really into night gimmicks with friends. I have a lot of friends but only a few treasured ones.

Hmm...what else? I dunno so I'm leaving...Haha!

Have a Nice hop in my blog!
I've heard a lot about these ideas of earning money online but was not that interested before in joining. Or let's say I was doubful about it whether it is true or not.

It says I'll be paid while clicking ads.I haven't received any payments yet since I'm still new with these stuffs. I'll keep you posted if I have received my payments already.

Anyways, these were the sites I've signed up with. Perhaps you wanna check these out and register too. Tee Hee!
