Layout Problems...

Darn! I was thinking of changing my blog's theme but apparently, I am having a problem about it. My header is missing! I've customized my header and now that I want something new, the header of the new layout won't appear. I tried removing the header element to no avail. Huhu. Darn it! I haven't made any back up with my previous theme so now, I'm leaving you with this new layout without it's header background on. Have to wait for my brother though. Perhaps he could help me remedy this.

Ash Wednesday...

Today's ash wednesday, signifying the first day of Lent and occurs forty six days before Easter. As a sign of repentance, ashes is placed on the foreheads of the people going to church this time. These ashes were the burned palm crosses during the Palm Sunday and is usually mixed with the Oil of the Catachumens.

Remember, O man, that you are dust, and unto dust you shall return. (Latin: Memento homo, quia pulvis es, et in pulverem reverteris.)

Turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel.

Repent, and hear the good news.

That's right! Zenni Optical in the New York Times?! New York times has indeed featured Zenni Opticals with their low cost Prescription eyeglasses for only $8! This is another good break for Zenni being patronized by their customers and critics. They do sell their manufactured frames directly to their customers giving them low, low prices. Post Valentine's Greetings

I'd Like to greet everyone a belated Happy Heart's Day? How was it?!

As for me, I had dinner with my mom at Gerry's Grill last night. Then off we went inside the mall and bought a pair of wedge, a webcam, a headset and a USB hub. Although I am loveless, it didn't bother me to see couples and hearts everywhere. Good thing, I'm not used to go on a date with arven every February 14. Haha. But I can still say I hate Valentine's day, haha. Bitter, eh? Yeah for sure. Anyways, I'm quite happy and satisfied what we did last night. Somehow, it was a quite compensation for being loveless. c",)

Truck's Curfew

Back here in our city, it's safer to travel before nine in the morning. Why? Because trucks are not allowed to travel before nine in the morning. It's not that scary, though. But whenever I see moving trucks in the street, I felt a pang of fear because they are really big vehicles and I'm afraid something dangerous will happen. Hehe. Paranoid, eh?

Fitness First in Megamall

While strolling around SM Megamall, I happen to see the outlet of Fitness First. There was a wide variety of gym equipments I could see from the entrance door, including the treadmills. The gym was inviting for work out. Hayz, I missed working out in the gym. I should have availed of the valentine's promo in the gym where I used to go, it's cheaper than the regular gym rate.

Signage

My friend's boyfriend followed us up in Manila to look for a tarpaulin machine. We went over to mall of asia and they asked the sales ladies there were to find that tarpaulin machine. Unfortunately, none was available at mall of asia and they were recommended to visit the HP office in Makati. That was tedious, eh. I should have told him about digital signage, perhaps it could be an alternative.

Work Holding

In the condo unit where my friends and I stayed, it was all empty. No any form of furnitures and appliances in there. It was literally empty. Though there's a small sink there and a bathroom. But in case we get problems with these we don't have any means of repairing it like work holdings. Of course, we are all girls in there and have no idea on how to fix those things and fortunately they were all in good condition and functioning.

Slimquick

Pimples popped out of my face the moment I set foot at Manila. Never had an idea how stressful life was there. Everyday we have to walk to and from our destination and go up and down the stairs if we're using the MRT. It was fast paced compared to Davao and I wasn't used to it and had experienced body aches from too much walking and climbing up the stairs. Nyahaha. The pollution was terrible as well, I was wearing my flip flops most of the time and I can see the dust residue along the straps of my slippers and at the soles of my feet. Eww! Good thing I have a wet tissue in my bag so I can clean my feet often. Hayz. I know I'm stressed out there since I wasn't used to the lifestyle and I think I need something for detoxifcation like Slimquick Cleanse.

Headset

We had fun strolling along Bonifacio High Street the night before I left for Davao. The place was nice and peaceful, quite far from the traffic and the pollution. The condos were also classy and there were restaurants and other shops on the ground level where classy people all flocked in and enjoying their time. Well we also enjoyed taking pics there. Hehe. I've seen some people jogging even at night with their Bluetooth headsets on. Some also went walking with their cute pups. Seemed like you're on another different place.

Finally at Home

Been in Manila for five days and I'm glad I'm now back at home. I can't foresee myself staying long in Manila. The traffic, pollution, etc. were all stressful. Hayz. Though the nice part would be mall hopping and food trip but my goodness!, it's quite expensive. Never had the chance to buy some clothes for me. I ended up hoarding Stephenie Meyer's books from Fully Booked since it's always out of stock here in Davao. Nyahaha. I'm loving Fully Booked and I hope they will branch out here.

Cell Towers

Dreaming about my future goals in life, it crossed my mind that someday, when I'll be able to buy a house and lot of my own, I'll see to it that it has a spacious lot. It is because, I am thinking of getting a cell towers of my own. Although it isn't easy to acquire such since there are several factors from the company to consider. Nevertheless, if I'll get the chance to have one, then I could have an additional income for my family. LOL.

Fashion Wars

It was my cousin who invited me to join and play Fashion Wars from a popular social network to keep me busy. It was fun and addicting. Of course it's all about fashion and how it goes in the fashion industry. Bad thing is, I got stuck since I lack members in my posse (group) to keep me going. Resulting to losing during fights since I can't have access to other rare items. Hmm...so if you are into it...do join in my posse here.

Paintball

Been watching some TV features about paintball game and I think it's a good game...and a good exercise as well. My friends and I were wishing we could participate in such a game since we used to play counter strike and we think that by playing the paintball games, we could get the real feeling of encountering villains and the like. Wee...the thought of it sounds exciting and fun!

But first we must equip ourselves with the necessary gadgets and accessories used in this game. Of course we do need a Tippmann gun, as the army says..."my rifle is my life". LOL. There are some shops online where we could purchase our equipments like Tippmann x7 for a free shipping. Haha. Cool name. Feels like really an army woman.

Mixed Feelings

It was a final decision and no matter what I do, he won't give in. It hurts but there's nothing that I can do. It's hard to let go, though I think it's the best thing to do. As of the moment, I do not know how I feel. There's pain, hatred , longing, confusion, numbness, hoping and being hopeless...

I apologized...I regretted...but these were not enough. I understand the pain he is going through. But he is all that I ask for. I thought he was the one...
