My Vanity Side...

My cousins and I went to the beach yesterday. There was no formal plans mad ahead. Out of boredom we decided to cross Samal Island and hit the beach. The water was inviting but what was disappointing was the sharp corals underneath that made it hard for us to walk through it by feet.

Surprisingly, heavy rains poured down and strong winds that made it quite impossible for us to head home. We were planning to stay overnight if the rain won't go away but God was good and the rain had stopped and we were able to cross back to Davao City safely.

Exhausted, we arrived home laughing with our mishaps. Tired as I am, I still managed to hit the shower and applied my moisturizer for the face and my best eye cream before sleeping.

Next time we go outing, we should have an extra money and credit card on hand for emergency purposes.

Malling Alone...

I was at the mall this afternoon alone to buy some stuffs. Then off I did some window shopping. Lots of nice clothes and other stuffs are available and are very tempting to be purchased. Good thing, my mind was diverted to this lady who happened to offer me a free insurance quotes from a known insurance company. After then, I headed to McDonald's for my take out order and headed back home. Hays, what a boring day it was!

Stay Young and Pretty

I guess most of us are conscious on how to look good. As we age, we get more conscious of ourselves and we want to stay young and pretty. In short, we want to look good. Because feeling good and looking young and pretty boosts our confidence and helps us feel happy.

So as I was browsing online, I found these tips to help us stay young and pretty regardless of how old we are.

1. Try everything twice. On Madam's (of Whelan's and Madam) tombstone she wanted this epitaph: Tried everything twice...loved it both times!

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down (keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches).

3. Keep learning: Learn more about computers, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain get idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.' And the devil's name is Alzheimer's!

4. Enjoy the simple things. (Ice cream, good movies, chocolate, more ice cream, more chocolate, chocolate ice cream!!)

5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath. And if you have a friend who makes you laugh, spend lots and lots of time with that person.

6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person who is with you your entire life is you.Lost time can never be found. LIVE while you are alive.Do I hear a LOUD AMEN?

7.Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever.Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9.Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county, or a foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is.

10. Tell the people you love that you love them at every opportunity. I love you, my special friend.

11. Forgive now those who made you cry. You might not get a second time.

12. Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

13. Pray & Praise God daily!

Kris Allen's The New American Idol...

America has finally decided who the new American idol for season 8 is. And it goes to Kris Allen! Nice one! I was betting for him though in fairness to Adam, he also has the voice. Both of them are talented but I like Kris' style more and I am happy he won! I think he did a very nice rendition of Heartless and Ain't No Sunshine. His talent's simply amazing!

Congratulations!

I Lost 4 Kilos...

I admit I really lost some weight. But even though I did, I'm still within my normal range. So I cannot say that I am underweight. But my ex commented that I don't look good with my current weight and that he likes me better when I weighed 6 kilos more back then.

Oh well, he's the only one who commented that way and I hated it! I don't know if he's comparing me with someone or was he just insecure maybe.

I'm Waiting For Any Baby Announcements...

There are already some friends of mine that had already chose to settle down and married the man of their dreams. Ohhh....lucky them! But until now, I haven't received any news or any baby announcements from any one of them. Are they keeping it a surprise or just plainly there's nothing to announce yet. Hayz. I kept asking one friend of mine if ever she's pregnant already because as a friend, I am excited to see her wear a maternity clothes and to see her cuddling her baby. What a joy that would be! Hehe.

I want a Memory Uprade..

I'm really thankful my parents bought me my first digital camera years ago. That was the time I'm leaving for Hong Kong and my digicam was really heaven sent. I was able to took pictures there and whenever I scan those pictures, the memories just poured back in.

Now, my digicam is still always with me whenever I go out because I also use this to capture the moments with my friends. Even though we're just chilling out around. And I guess, I needed to have it's memory upgraded to store more photos and won't oblige me to delete the previous photos I took.

Treadmills or Ellipticals..

Just last week, my friend and I visited one of the gym here in the city and we got a permission to have a tour around. Of course, since I used to work out there, the staff knew me and the chance was given to me to tour my friend around.

There I brought her to the cardio room, the weights room and the aero room. I was telling her that whenever I'm doing my cardio, I usually used the theater max room. It has this big flat screen TV and the room is more private especially if you work out in groups. My friend said she loves to use the treadmill and so I told her I love the ellipticals. As for me, it helped me burn more calories than the treadmill.

I Need To Cleanse My Colon...

I love to eat and perhaps so are you, right?!

There were times, that I had difficulty with my bowel movements and so I end up feeling bloated and less energized. We all know that our colon is where our body wastes can be located. These wastes are toxic to our body if not get rid off. That is why, regular bowel movements is a must. Though it won't get rid of all the toxins in our body with just that and this is where colon cleansing comes in. There are various ways of how to cleanse our colon but first we have to consult our physicians of what is best for us. And I do think I need to have that.

Sorry No Credit Card Purchases

Our auto supply store has been running for years already. And it has been years that we were accepting walk in customers and suppliers. But there's one thing that our store does not accept...credit card purchases. Sad but true. There are several walk in clients that needs to buy some auto parts from us but ended up canceling their orders because we don't accept credit cards. It would be great if we can avail the free credit card machines from Total Merchant Services. That would be a great help and will help increase our profits too.

Travel Places for Gay Men...

It was surprising for me to learn that there are certain travel places where gay men and lesbians can go to and explore the world and have fun without being judged and criticized. It has all the benefits of any vacations. And like any others, these people could meet new friends and acquaintances. Get to know more about themselves and the world around them. This gay travel I'm talking about not only gives enjoyment and relaxation but at the same time let one venture into the frontiers of spirit, self-awareness and personal growth where each one needs.

My Traveler Friend...

I received a postcard from a friend of mine. This time it was a postcard from Egypt. She's been there for a vacation tour. She has been to a lot of places and by October, she'll be visiting here. It would be exciting to see her again and catch up to those times we were apart. It's really good to hear her stories from where she has been. Even in the States, she still travel from one state to another and had a reservation at Westgate where she visited Florida. It's envying to hear her stories and she's really excited to share those with me. I'm looking forward to seeing her soon.
