Walking Around Is Tiring

Yeah, I usually walk around our unit especially if I am the circulating nurse. Need to attend to every doctor's and patient's concern. And so how I wished that this walking routine may help burn fats and considered to be a natural fat burner. If that's the case, then everyone of us should be in great shape now. But how come my legs are still big? It's not flattering for me to look at it as I have a hard time fitting my pants.

Bigger Tummy

What's wrong with my tummy? It's getting bigger considering that I only eat a cup of rice in my meals. They say it comes with age. And with the age I have, it's the time that women gets big as they say. And will an abs workout work? Should I enroll in a gym to tone down my body? Hay I wished it isn't that expensive and time consuming. But right now, I do think I need to hit the gym.

Beware on Self Medicating

pain killers

Always consult your physician in taking medicines even if it is an over the counter drugs or not. Remember that drugs that might have work for other people in treating a particular symptoms or disease may or may not work for you.

Last night, one of my batch mate in college was pronounced dead after being in coma for days in the ICU. Due to dysmenorrhea and I mean, the worst case of it, she did self medication to relieve the severe pain she was feeling. Though I'm not sure what particular drugs she used but according to my friend, she took it via direct IV. In fact she's an OR nurse and it just shows that whether you are a health care provider or not, it's still not safe to self medicate. This is just one case of unfortunate incidents brought about by self medication.

As much as possible don't depend on drugs.

It's just sad to know she passed away. Never had the chance to visit her in the hospital thinking of visiting her some other day, but it was too late. I was just shock to hear the sad news from vianne last night. May her soul rest in peace.

Hanging Out

Last night, my boyfriend invited me over to McDonald's at Damosa Gateway. Actually, we planned to eat there the day before since I was craving for a cheeseburger then. His friend Kenny came along with us.

I ordered a plain cheeseburger, a coke and my all time favorite sundae hot fudge. Both of them ordered a one piece chicken with extra rice and a coke float. You know guys have big appetites, right? For the meantime, I didn't mind that I'm on a diet. Tee Hee!

After which, we headed to the supermarket and hang out there while both of them drank some beer. One of the conversations we had was sleep paralysis. I was telling them that one cause of sleep paralysis is an irregular sleeping pattern. And guess what? Both of them had experienced it, since they too have irregular sleeping pattern. It feels like you cannot move your body, cannot speak and has minimal control in breathing. Feels like being strangled or feeling a weight on your chest.

I often experienced sleep paralysis and had even experienced a near death experience due to it. Often it is interpreted as a dream or nightmares just like a ghostly encounter. That's why I am trying my best to adjust my sleeping pattern. I'm still not successful with my attempts, I always end up waking up at 12am and return to sleep at 3 am or 5 am. *Sweat. Very bad for health!

I was once advised by my reviewer that I shouldn't sleep alone in my room.

Anyways, enough of that stuff. Gotta have some rest now. Good night!

Migraine...

Due to chronic insomnia, I opted to buy a sleeping pills from Watson store before. Last night I tried taking it in hope of being able to sleep easily and at long intervals. Been an insomniac since college days and I've been suffering it intermittently for years. *Sob.

About 12mn, I took the pill. Well, I don't know if "sleeping pill" is an appropriate term to use. It's a herbal thingy in a capsule that would help you get to sleep.

Yes, I did sleep. But I don't think it was a peaceful sleep. It was as if my body is asleep but my mind's not. At 5:30am, I woke up with a migraine.

Whenever I am having a migraine, no drugs could help me at ease, though haven't tried Advil yet since it's not available here in the house. So my only remedy for that is sleeping. I had a hard time going back to sleep because I was feeling nauseated. *Sob.
