Understanding a Sagi Woman

This is a repost from Gleez.

A tall slim and graceful woman who walked proudly like she is walking in a beauty pageant competition. If she slips or nearly falls, she will nicely covered it up and continue with her graceful and impressive walking step. She knows how to use make up to enhance her beauty. She looks at the world positively, so her face always seem so happy. She will not get up set easily.

Self confident woman who belief in her own style. She will not follow fashion, but standing in between simplicity and too modern. She is a very open person, sometimes can be too blunt. She is an honest person and never try to cause troubles for any one. She likes to say something that you do not want to hear and yet she can say something so pleasing at the same time. Example she may say "I wish you could make more money, so you could afford better cloth, but anyway it is better this way. If you make more money you could be thinking of money too much and become greedy". She can say such thing and make you wonder if you should get up set or love her more.

She is also a free spirit and does not like to stay home. She likes to be protected, but not to give her orders. She has no respect to a weak man. If she try to over powered you, then you have to calm her down and try to control her to be in a limit by doing the same thing too. She will listen if she respect you. She likes to be herself and like her guy to be himself. She is a no nonsense woman, so you will not hear she says " Guess what I will do next", or "Guess what I am thinking" because she always say what she is thinking out loud like a guy. If you do not understand her in this matter, you could easily break up with her. She sees problems in her love life as another funny story.

She is clumsy and it is in her nature. You may think it is cute, but for some neat guys this could be so unbearable. She is very friendly, so she can easily turn her enemy to be her friends. She has good taste in fine cloths, good food, first class and first services. Even a poor woman in this Zodiac will struggle to afford such good taste. She could spent lots of money as if she can not understand how difficult it is to make money. If you think of let her borrow money, think again.

She is a paranoid. If she thinks you like her, she may already think about getting marry and lost her freedom and so on and on. A jolly woman who loves sports. She is an ordinary woman who could dress like a tomboy. She has more guy friends and sometimes could act like one of a guy. She does not care about rumors, so she can get home very late and couldn't careless what her neighbor will gossip about her. She thinks either good or bad, you will know it yourself , so you should not bother what people think.

Her wit and innocent look are her charms. She is often hurts from love, but never afraid to look for a new one as if she is singing "Do that to me one more time". She likes going straight and being straight forward. She will not go around to get what she wants, or beat around the bush just to say something. If you meet her and tell her straight what you think, she will admire you.

Mondays # 1

Lately, I've been thankful that Jaycee seemed to get used already in our home. Although often he'd looked for his mom but he's not crying anymore. He calls my mom as "Mama". And he seemed happier now than before. He gained weight too. Hehe.

Yesterday, I once again went to the mall with my mom and Jaycee. We bought a dog food and I bought another Sophie Kinsella novel. I'm now reading "Shopaholic and Sister", it's the continuation of the previous book I read. This time Becky and Luke, the newly married couple, went for a trip around the world for their honeymoon and when they got back to London, Becky was surprise with the changes occurred in her family and friends.

Anyway, I planned to read all the Sophie Kinsella novels before buying another novel from another author. So bear with me if I always write about Sophie's books. Hehe.

I missed dropping my EC's yesterday because I can't get to drop one. I think their server was down and seems like it's still down this time. This message appeared when you browsed in their site...

"There was a fire at our datacenter resulting in the failure of some of our systems, our database server appears to be offline still, we're working on it and we're really sorry about the issues at this time. more information arriving shortly."

Would it affect our credits? I hope there's no casualties and I hope they can get back working as soon as possible.

Check out their The Planet Forum for details.

Saturdays #1

My mom gave me moolah the other day, and went to the mall yesterday to buy another Sophie Kinsella's novels. This time it's "Shopaholic Ties The Knot". It's a story about Becky getting married and being torn between her mom and mother-in-law who were both planning for her wedding on the same day. This book reminds me of my friend who is marrying sometime this year.

It was inside the bookstore where my boyfriend and I met for our movie date. After buying the book, we headed to McDonald's. I ordered the usual stuffs I eat, Burger McDo Meal and a Hot Fudge Sundae. It was almost a month that we haven't seen each other considering that we live near each other. So we spent that time at McDo chitchatting and updating each other with our lives.

After which we took a cab heading to NCCC Mall for our movie date. Unluckily, we were stranded almost an hour in a traffic along Quirino Ave. That was the longest traffic we've been and it was so hot inside the cab. Worst is, I felt slightly scared when I saw that the vehicle beside us were full of men in army uniform. They have this red badge on their arm and from that I recognize they're not the Philippine Army. I think they are popularly known for as the MILF or MNLF (whatever!), or Nur Misuari's troops as I describe them. That day, you can see a lot of these men in the city since there was a summit conducted in the city where their leader was a part of it.

Well, I'm not discriminating them being in our city. But I can't just help but feel just a little scared though nothing bad happen while they were here. Davao City still remained peaceful and thank God for that. I guess they're not really that bad and fearful after all.

Inside NCCC mall, we chose to watch Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull 'cos that's what my boyfriend really wanted to watch. I'm not a fan of Indiana Jones and I find some scenes boring though there were some scenes that were funny too. I was sleepy and was eager to get out of the movie house, but since I cannot do that, I ended up resting on my boyfriend's shoulder and trying to get a nap from time to time. Hehe.

Can You Keep A Secret?

Weee! I bought a new book! Haha. And I've got no secrets to share. LOL.

Bought a Sophie Kinsella's book, "Can You Keep A Secret" at National Bookstore this morning. It really was my intention to tag along with my family and hang out here in our store so I could ask my mom to buy me this book. And she did!

Not because I stayed in the store, but because I was begging her to buy me one since I have the urge to read again after reading those books I bought. Now, if you're a parent, wouldn't you be glad to hear your daughter wanting to read a book?! Now, don't tell me I'm a spoiled daughter. LOL. She used to buy me a lot of books when I was a kid and I describe our house, "the little library". But those books were already been read by me. *Sweat.

Okay, let's move on. While we were inside the bookstore, I showed her the book and she asked me the classification of the book. I told her it's a fictional book, surprisingly, she told me I should buy a book that I could learn something from it. LOL. I told her that reading fictional books help me develop my WILD imagination. HAHA!

This is the first time I would be reading one of Sophie Kinsella's novels, and I hope I'll enjoy reading this. I heard this book is kinda hilarious. Well, let's see...

Boy Meets Girl

I am currently reading this book by Joshua Harris entitled, "Boy Meets Girl: Say Hello to Courtship". A very inspiring book for couples out there or even for singles both man and woman.

It opens our mind on how God intervene with us in our love relationships and encourages us to fully trust in Him

Very inspiring and I greatly recommend this book to everyone especially to men.

Boredom in Work

I sometimes feel bored when working, especially if I had a lot of time to stare at the wall. I find myself staring at the wall clock waiting for the time to ran fast.

Elliot stated in her book, that the cause of boredom is the hatred of work. Let's see, yes I feel bored because I don't like the fact of working a less toxic area since it's kinda tiring to wait for your shift to end. Unlike if you're busy with what you are doing, you cannot feel tiredness and the time is fast for you. I guess there's some truth with Elliot's statement there. Don't you agree?

People may have the perception of equating work to obligation. We are obliged to work because we needed to and we are obliged to. Hence, most of us are not satisfied with what we are doing which causes us to feel tired and bored at work. We see ourselves whining about it and here comes the younger ones witnessing our negative attitude towards work. Time will come that they too would feel the same way when they get to work.

Apparently, Elliot reminded us that the Lord in His time did worked also. He served in the carpenter shop of His father Joseph. He was responsible, learned skill and above all, He loved His work and find "the glory of work as a gift to glorify His heavenly Father".

The message she is trying to convey is to learn to like and love our work. Let us recognize God's gracious gift in every single task we make. If we see this, we'll learn true happiness, eventually other people will too. "Fulfillment is not a goal to achieve, but always the by-product of sacrifice".

"Teach us, Good Lord, to labor and to ask for no reward save that of knowing that we do Thy will".
- St. Ignatius Loyola

Indecision

Most of us find making decision a hard time. We spent awful time making up our minds. Even I am guilty of it. Perhaps it is one of my weaknesses to make a decision. I have to think it over and over again to be sure if I am making the right one. Which I think is not bad, right?

But then according to Elisabeth Elliot's "Keep a Quiet Heart", James wrote in his epistle that trust is the remedy for this indecision. Therefore, he is telling us to ask for wisdom if we don't know what to do and to be sure that we really expect God to tell us...
"for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind; and every decision you then make will be uncertain, as you turn first this way and then that. If you don't ask with faith, don't expect the Lord to give you any solid answer"
(James 1:6-8)
